Join us as a Finance Manager, NatWest Rooster Money

What you'll do

As a Finance Manager, you’ll be analysing complex financial data, compiling and distributing results into detailed reports. You’ll be identifying areas of concern, bringing significant variances with supporting detail to the attention of management, as well as recommending necessary actions to the management team for establishing and achieving financial objectives.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal processes and policies
  • Taking responsibility for both internal and external MI, including business, finance and compliance
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including the preparation and completion of financial results for World Learning Limited in line with our SLAs
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and Fixed Asset register, along with identifying and clearing reconciliation differences in a timely manner

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a proven track record of running the administrative side of a small business as a sole administrator. You’ll be educated to a degree level or hold an equivalent qualification.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good finance and accounting skills
  • Good teamwork and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with SQL, which would be beneficial but not essential
