Job Description:

Candidate will be a part of the Global Markets Business Governance Team within the GM COO organization supporting Global Markets Third Party Governance focused on Financial Market Utilities, Partner Banks, and Third-Party Data. In this capacity, the candidate will work closely with the Enterprise Third Party Program, the Enterprise Data Management Program, Global Markets Sales & Trading, Compliance, Legal, Audit and numerous other support partners. 

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years experience working on complex initiatives and developing control-oriented, business processes related to Third-Party Risk Management.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing activities related to Financial Market Utilities and Partner Banks, including day to day activities, metrics monitoring, and governance routines.
  • Establish new framework for the governance and monitoring of Third-Party Data risks in line with new enterprise standards and requirements
  • Support new requirements for external data transmission, including validating risk assessments, metrics monitoring, and oversight of all Global Markets data transmissions with external entities
  • Establishing new guidelines for the completion of Global Markets Third-Party Deal Risk Assessments
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations relating to Enterprise Third-Party and Enterprise Data initiatives

Competencies and Requirements          

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Third Party Risk Management
  • Minimum 5 years experience assessing inherent risks of Financial Market Utilities
  • In depth understanding of Data Classifications
  • Program/project management experience with demonstrated ability to build project roadmaps, manage several key stakeholders and take ownership for delivery
  • Drive Global Markets Third Party Process Improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Excellent time management skills and able to manage multiple competing/concurrent activities
  • Must be able to deliver results with limited direction and supervision
  • Must be able to work well in collaborative team environment, but also independently

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$175,000.00 - $250,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
