Job Description:

Within the framework of Data Management activities for a global leader in the aerospace industry, you will join the Standardization & Rationalization team operating across France, Germany, and Poland (Lodz). As a Data Management Specialist, you will act as a bridge between technical expertise and digital efficiency. You will be responsible for the data integrity of all Standard Part families, including raw materials (metallic and organic), fasteners, as well as mechanical and electrical components, ensuring they are accurately represented in our evolving digital systems.

Tasks, role & responsibilities:

As a key member of the Data Management Squad, you will focus on ensuring high data quality and driving cleaning initiatives across several strategic projects (e.g., NewERP, HAZMAT TG11, and the future digitalization of standards). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing data quality audits and cleaning activities to support seamless project transitions
  • Leveraging technical knowledge of standard parts and materials to ensure data accuracy
  • Utilizing data analysis tools (Google Sheets, macros, and Skywise) to monitor and improve data consistency


This new position will lead to:

  • Maximizing data quality for standard parts to ensure a "single source of truth" across all engineering systems.
  • Increasing the Design Office efficiency by significantly reducing the time spent on searching and identifying standard parts.
  • Optimizing the Standard Parts portfolio by streamlining the selection and managing the lifecycle of the components.
  • Interacting with various entities within Methods & Tools, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and IM in France and Germany, including interfaces within the Airbus Group

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with product data management processes (Management of product master data)
  • SAP S4 HANA knowledge (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Export Control and Data Classification (nice to have)
  • Initial experience with Agile and SAFe principles
  • Languages: English fluent (mandatory), French/German (nice to have);
