Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in data governance, regulatory reporting, and reporting tools to join our data team. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening data quality, documentation, lineage, and regulatory compliance frameworks, with a particular focus on BCBS 239 principles.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance & Regulatory Compliance

• Support the implementation and monitoring of BCBS 239 principles.
• Define and maintain data lineage and metadata management frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements related to risk data aggregation and reporting.
• Contribute to governance committees and documentation processes.

Data Documentation & Quality

• Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation (data dictionaries, mapping documents, lineage records).
• Design, implement, and monitor data quality controls and validation rules.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and remediation actions.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews with structured evidence and reporting.

Reporting & Analytics

• Create, migrate, and test regulatory and management reports.
• Optimize existing reporting processes for reliability and automation.
• Ensure consistency and traceability between data sources and final reports.
• Support end-to-end report lifecycle management (development, UAT, deployment).

Tooling & Automation

• Develop dashboards and reports using:
  • SAP BusinessObjects
  • Microsoft Power BI (including Power Apps & Power Automate)
  • Tableau
  • Alteryx
• Contribute to automation initiatives to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT teams

This role requires both strong technical capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with business and regulatory stakeholders in English. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience is required
