Typical Accountabilities:
• Ensures the processes for presenting findings from competitive intelligence analysis to the appropriate leadership team within AstraZeneca are robust, and works to continuously improve them
• As an expert, supports the integration of intelligence findings into the overall functional strategy
• Serves as main contact for Business Information and Intelligence for function supported
• Organises debriefs to collect and circulate information sourced from attendees at conferences
• Ensures team assembles key reports from analysis and identifies major opportunities and threats to the business
• Manages and coordinates tracking of recommendation submissions to senior members of staff
• Acts as a technical owner within Business Information and Intelligence with a deep understanding of processes and internal regulations
• Liaises with compliance team members to ensure other teams are providing accurate data
• Keeps own knowledge of best practices and new relevant developments up to date
• Identifies opportunities to improve the methodology and provide practical solutions for the function

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; Experience of Information and Intelligence sourcing within a pharmaceutical or clinical background; Knowledge of relevant developments in the area of strategy and portfolio management
• Desirable: Advanced degree within the field; Professional certification; Understanding of multiple aspects within strategy and portfolio management
