The main purpose of this role is to be the Finance Business Partner for Groupon's Finance, Legal, and HR departments. This role acts as an internal consultant for VP-level business leaders across the organization to understand the ins and outs of a specific business unit. Through focusing on two main areas—controllership and business support—we ensure the success of the business while maximizing profit for each group we work with. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, specifically the Finance, Legal, and HR departments.

Key Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts

* Meet regularly with Finance, HR, and Legal leadership to assist in business unit planning

* Support the development and monitoring of KPIs and financial models to drive performance

* Perform ad hoc analysis on business / financial issues

* Drive various cross-functional and highly visible project streams leveraging technology (Tableau, Anaplan, etc) to improve visibility, insights and processes

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree

* 4+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, restructuring, or another related field

Required Skills, Competencies and Knowledge (Certifications, Languages, Training)

* You love collaborating and nurturing partnerships with senior leaders and teams

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* High comfort level with Microsoft Excel

* Systems saavy with a strong desire to transform and simplify processes

* Experience with planning software
