Senior Specialist, AML Compliance - Lima, Perú

In this role, you will operate within the Global Field Organization (GFO) of the Global Compliance organization. Which mitigates money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud related risks to Western Union.

Role Responsibilities

  • Investigate and research alert activity using Western Union systems, public databases and records conduct case-specific outreach to consumers.
  • Document findings and make recommendations, including escalating specific cases to Western Union business partners.
  • Identify emerging typologies and determine the appropriate strategy using applied knowledge and a wide range of investigative techniques.
  • Conduct complex manipulation of data.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience of 2 years in compliance.
  • Intermediate English is required for this role.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Excel, ideally at an advanced level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficient in using comprehensive mainframe systems and working software applications like MS Suite.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven culture.
  • Team player with strong collaborative ability and can work autonomously, making work-related decisions that incorporate company policies and procedures.
