Job Title: Senior Security Investigator
Salary: £73,444 - £90,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Peterborough
Benefits:
25 days annual leave,
Up to 20% Bonus
Cash Car Allowance - £625pcm.
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

The Opportunity
The Senior Security Investigator will be responsible for investigating complex and/or sensitive internal allegations of serious violation of policy, procedure, or law.
Job Role
This position is recognized within Caterpillar as an expert in the investigative field including but not limited to due diligence, insider threat, trade secret protection, product diversion, espionage, sanctions violations, and internal security related matters such as theft. Assignments are set forth by enterprise security management and the Chief Legal Officer.
What You Will Do
Collecting investigative facts as directed by the Chief Legal Officer; analyzing intelligence and forensic data within the scope of the investigation.
Executing interviews and investigative strategies; seeking legal collaboration, and approvals as required, for investigative steps.
Ensuring attorney client privilege, confidentiality and prompt collection of facts.
Documenting facts objectively, concisely, and promptly to support legal analysis.
What You Will Have
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Confidential Investigations: Knowledge of the concepts, methods and tools used in confidential investigation; ability to implement confidential investigation and resolution processes concerning harassment complaints.
Digital Forensic Tools: Knowledge of digital forensics; ability to utilize a variety of specific tools for collecting, analyzing, and presenting digital-related evidence.
Top Candidates
Top candidates will be highly skilled in both law enforcement and corporate investigations, with a deep understanding of criminal law, trade sanctions, and customs regulations. Knowledge and awareness of Caterpillar policies and procedures is preferred.
Additional Information:
We operate a hybrid working week consisting of three days in the office and two from home.
