The Buyer manages procurement activities to drive cost savings and meet internal customer needs. This role involves negotiating contracts, developing sourcing strategies, and overseeing the procurement lifecycle to ensure proficient and effective purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and meet business requirements.

  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.

  • Manage the competitive bidding process through RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and Reverse Auctions.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

  • Review and ensure contracts meet scope requirements, pricing agreements, and corporate standards.

  • Maintain and grow supplier relationships to support and expand the procurement pipeline.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to draft service scopes and requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred.

  • Proven experience in procurement, including supplier management, contract negotiation, and competitive bidding.

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and supplier performance.

  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, with a focus on scope, pricing, and compliance.

  • Proficient negotiation, clear communication, and solid interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities proficiently.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
