Description -
The Automation engineer will be responsible for the overall design, implementation, and optimization of Indigo SW Press API automation tests and infrastructure. The goal of this group is to improve via test automation our time to release for all key components and services, reduce Press utilization as well as reduce the risk of failure during deployment on all environment (pre-production and production). The immediate focus area will be the expansion and improvement of the current API/Web automation framework to meet release and operational requirements and handling automation and manual testing as part of the group responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Develop, improve, and maintain test automation frameworks and test-suites on company products.
Play an active role in the design, implementation, and test automation infrastructure.
Suggest new processes and policies that Engineering and QA can implement to ensure product quality
Create testing strategies and coordinate QA requirements with the development team.
Introduce automation best practices to QA engineers and developers, including reviewing the automated tests created by them.
Provide oversight through code and design reviews for tests delivered by other automation developers within the team.
Lead and drive issues to resolution.
Required Qualifications
B.Sc. In computer science or Engineering
5 years Hands-on experience in automation tests design and development
At least 3 year of experience in design/development .NET, C# or equivalent Object-oriented language
At least 3 year of experience in Selenium & Automation for API testing
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience in programming, creating, executing and analyzing automatic tests, using API’s.
100% hands-on position that includes several technologies and languages, so a desire to learn new technologies is a must.
Proven experience in leading changes and inspiring team members to grow and become technical experts in their field.
Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD applications
Experience using quality KPIs, quality measurement tools, and testing frameworks – Advantage
