Reporting into the Head of Human Resources – Oceania, the Talent Acquisition Manager is accountable for the effective delivery of our Talent Acquisition function across ANZ. In doing so, driving a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, risk mitigation and opportunity realisation to improve the ROI for the business.

What you will focus on:

  • Full ownership and accountability of the overall delivery of Talent Acquisition function and related systems and processes. Partnering closely with the business and the HR team to constantly improve our delivery model and processes.
  • Develop and maintain credible and sustainable relationships with key business stakeholders including -business leaders and managers, employees, candidates and recruitment agencies.
  • Lead, coach and manage the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to manage recruitment for senior hires directly.
  • Providing advice, coaching and guidance to hiring managers on interviewing techniques.
  • Ownership and delivery of cyclic reporting e.g. overall vacancy status, new hires & other metrics.
  • Managing all talent acquisition vendor costs e.g. Job boards, Reference Check platform, agency spend etc.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions including salary guidance.

About you

  • Possess extensive and in-depth experience managing full-cycle recruitment with experience in a regional or multi-location role.
  • Demonstrable experience of overcoming significant recruitment challenges (shortage of supply over demand). 
  • Demonstrable experience leading a Talent Acquisition team, ideally within a remote, multi-location or hybrid work environment.
  • From a minimum of 10+ years’ experience and ideally leading a team for the last 3+ years’ within a matrixed environment. 
  • Experience recruiting both white and blue collar professionals, preferably within  manufacturing, supply chain management, aviation or airline catering industries.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and comfortable navigating organisational dynamics and effectively work with ambiguity.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse recruitment metrics and make data-informed decisions.
  • Experience leveraging existing and emerging technologies to drive recruitment efforts.
