Job Description

The opportunity

The incumbent’s role is to identify and recruit top talent in a highly competitive employment marketplace.  As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will have the opportunity to provide recruitment marketplace expertise to identify, evaluate, and manage proactive recruitment sourcing plan, position specific talent identification strategies, initiatives, and tactics for the Organization includes sourcing, internal job boards, engaging recruitment vendors, interview arrangement and do onboarding. You will also partner with the HR Team to manage end-to-end recruitment process.


Responsibilities

·         Partner with lines of business and functional areas to provide strategic recruiting services to ensure that the company’s recruiting programs maximize visibility and result in high quality hires

·         Assess candidates using behavioral based interviewing in order to ensure top quality talent is selected

·         Coach hiring managers on the recruiting process, interview techniques, and selection criteria

·         Stay current on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations

·         Partner with management in the proactive sourcing of talent for critical skill areas in order to build a talent pipeline

·         Create and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract top talent, both passive and active

·         Internally market our services to employees and managers, promoting our value add and expertise

·         Drive the candidate selection process and ensure managers have the tools needed to select the most qualified candidate

·         Ensure all staffing processes are fair and equitable and comply with all relevant government regulations

·         Manage and/or participate in onboarding projects.

What we are looking for

·         University degree qualified

·         Preferably 2 - 5 years of recruiting experience (candidates with a blend of in-house and agency experience are preferred)

·         Strong direct sourcing skills with experience in using alternative sourcing methods

·         Ability to consult with internal and external clients and provide business solutions while managing multiple and shifting priorities

·         Organized and detail oriented with a pro-active approach

·         Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skill

·         Exceptional communication skills and able to articulate verbal skills in addition to effective written communication required
