Professional role in the activities of the Cloud DevSecOps team. S/he strives to follow all team standards/best practices while they work in/on cloud, CI/CD, programming, and automation. S/he will gain a foundational understanding of Webster Bank's cloud architecture. S/he ensures all work is completed to standards and on-time. S/he will implement and maintain DevSecOps tooling, cloud infrastructure and cloud controls.

  • Build and maintain public cloud controls (AWS/Azure) through Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • Build and maintain public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) through Infrastructure as Code and automation
  • Provides support to Information Technology teams that utilize public cloud

Technical Skills:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience and HS diploma required
  • Foundational understanding of cloud (AWS/Azure) core technologies and infrastructure. I.e., Serverless, Networking, Virtual Machines etc.
  • Comfortable using one of the following scripting/programming languages: Python, Go, JavaScript, PowerShell, Shell
  • Foundational knowledge of both CloudFormation and Terraform. Should be able to write basic configurations on their own and able to write advanced configurations with the help of more senior team members.
  • Understanding of core CI/CD concepts and pipelines using tools such as Gitlab or Jenkins.
  • Comfortable working on existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Comfortable with the configuration, maintenance of Linux and Windows systems

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, comfortable supporting business critical infrastructure and have a customer service demeanor.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $145,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
