Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Primary responsibilities include 24/7 L2 Support for Walmart & Sam's Club around the global for batch schedulers that run on the mainframe and open systems. Being able to multitask and support our customers through different channels of communications whether it being a phone call, Zoom, Slack or Team. Work holidays and weekends to provide support and being able to resolve issues.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

  • Must be able to work nights, Weekends and Holidays. We are an operation that works 12-hour shifts. This is a permanent on-site position.
  • ​Schedule for this position is either: Sunday - Tuesday night from 7pm to 7:30am and every 3rd Saturday OR Wednesday - Friday night and every 3rd Saturday.


What you'll do:

  • Able to monitor batch flows and escalate if SLA will be missed.
  • Able to restart 70% of the batch job, while taking phone calls.
  • Able to monitor mainframe and open systems where we run our batch jobs, ensuring systems are stable.

What you'll bring:

  • Mainframe experience is helpful but not required.
  • Able to multi-task by using many different communications channels.
  • Knowledge of JCL (job control language).
  • How to type and take phone calls.
  • Soft skills: positive attitude and willingness to learn

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00

Call Center, Information Technology, Programming Language - HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Research Analytics, Using intermediate to advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel (for example, pivot tables and basic macros), Using SAP and Ariba to access and review contracts, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
