What You Will Do
The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner, LatAm will ensure alignment with global HR policies and procedures for the region. This position will focus on supporting leadership development at the Manager and Sr. Manager levels, collaborating closely with regional business units and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver impactful solutions. Reporting to Brazil’s HR Director, this role requires strong strategic and operational HR expertise, as well as the ability to lead indirectly and influence cross-functional teams. This position will not lead a team.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for business unit leaders and the HR team. Implement effective change management strategies, ensuring compliance and mitigating organizational risks. Drive improvements aligned with global HR best practices.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to support decision-making, organizational design, onboarding processes, and leadership evaluation for business units.
- Facilitate complex interactions, build consensus on HR policies, and lead dispute resolution processes for the assigned business group.
- Act as the primary point of contact with COEs, including Talent Acquisition, Global Compensation, and Global Mobility, leveraging influence to achieve objectives.
- Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, navigating complex organizational structures and leading through influence to achieve goals.
- Partner with business leaders to implement solutions that address business challenges. Coach Managers and Sr. Managers on HR-related issues and advocate for aligned and impactful solutions.
- Ensure organizational compliance with all global HR standards and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with business leaders to create development plans, align structures with strategic goals, and support HR processes such as employee onboarding and talent evaluations.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Human Resources management positions.
- Strong experience in companies with a robust Compliance program and a matrix environment.
- Experience working with Centers of Excellence (COE) or Shared Services Centers (CSC).
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Intermediate Spanish proficiency.
- Intermediate Portuguese proficiency.
- Strong background in Human Resources roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in employee relations.
- Previous experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical companies.
- Previous experience in regional roles.
