Position:          Senior Manager, IT Validation Services (ref.#4367)

Duties:             Use experience with: computer system validation, electronic records and electronic signature regulations and related Health Authority (HA) regulations, concepts and techniques of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing, data integrity, Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP), Amazon web services (AWS) big data platforms, data warehousing, integration technologies to oversee and executes Computer System Validation activities for Information Technology (IT) capabilities to ensure 'fit for use' before release to production environment. Collaborate and work closely with Data Platform teams to ensure alignment of principles while identifying opportunities for improvement. Ensure adherence to software development practices, compliance, and key IT controls. Identify opportunities for simplification and partners with the IT Delivery Team to implement. Support Inspections and audits (internal and external). Perform and provides direction on data analytics to understand risk and impact. Apply understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work and influence work on peers. Interpret business and industry challenges and recommends best practices-based solutions to improve products, processes, systems. Implement IT controls in accordance with applicable regulations and the ability to evaluate and understand the impact of new regulations and requirements. Serve as validation representative in problem management and audit remediation activities. May telecommute 50% of time from anywhere in the United States.
 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in pharmacology/toxicology, pharmacy, computer science or a related field plus 8 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skills set described above.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $131,331 to $164,105, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
