While we have been improving lives of HIV patients for 30 years, this is an especially exciting time to be at ViiV Healthcare, as we evaluate novel approaches to treatment and prevention that could further reduce the impact of HIV on individuals and communities.

As the Rukobia Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the creation of promotional assets to support ViiV’s promotional efforts to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in the US and prioritized Direct to Patients (DTP) promotional activities.

This role reports to the Rukobia Brand Lead and will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. Accountabilities for this position include (but are not limited to):  

  • Lead key HCP Promotion Marketing activities and tactics for Rukobia brand in the U.S while managing Direct to Patients content creation and in field activities with cross functional partners.
  • HCP promotion activities include; developing the holistic HCP assets for selling teams and Peer-to-peer educational programs’ content, including speaker training content.
  • Gain an in depth understanding of the brand strategy, including strategic initiatives, key priorities and performance, to be able to create a curated content that is relevant for our HCPs and patients.  
  • Active management of agency partners, especially the Creative Agency of Record and the Patient Ambassador agency; evaluate and set project budgets, work with agency/finance to ensure progress according to budget.
  • Consistently establish detailed timelines and manage projects to those timelines.
  • Manage projects through the Copy Approval system and process.
  • Partner with External Experts to create engaging peer-to-peer assets that tell the story of the brand.
  • Partner with the HCP engagement team to project manage speakers’ training in addition to the delivery of peer-to-peer programs to our HCPs audiences (on demand and marketing led).
  • Partner with the portfolio team to lead priority activities for the brand at sponsored conferences.
  • Partner with the Digital team to channel the brand creative assets and be a champion to create an exceptional omnichannel customer experience to maximize potential in the marketplace.
  • Develop effective working relationships and engage across relevant stakeholders (notably, Medical/Legal/Regulatory, Sales Teams, Marketing, Portfolio/conferences team, HCP engagement)
  • Routinely engage with the field and our customers to understand their needs for the development of relevant customer value propositions.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business /Marketing or Health Sciences related field.
  • 4+  years of healthcare marketing or other relevant commercial experience (Relevant commercial experience may include sales, training, or communications in an agency or pharma company.  Healthcare marketing can include brand marketing, market research, marketing operations, and/or provider marketing or a combination of these).

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA Preferred.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical copy approval process.
  • Experience crafting and executing high-impact HCP content.
  • Knowledge of HIV experience US market dynamics and characteristics.  
  • Experience leading agency partners.
  • Brand management experience, including demonstration of competitive knowledge within therapeutic areas.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to prioritize and incorporate different perspectives across Medical, Commercial, External Experts and other functions. 
  • Solutions-oriented. Able to bring out the best thinking from cross-functional partners and keep team(s) focused on the end goal.
  • Multi-channel marketing campaign development experience. 
  • Customer facing experience preferred to effectively engage with Field Teams and External Experts.
