Job Summary
• This role is responsible for coordinating transition programs across functions, establishing and enforcing TTM processes, and aligning project plans. The role contributes significantly to the successful transformation of the customer’s transitioned environment to significantly improve service levels and reduce ongoing operating costs. The role leads transition teams during the deal phases and provides support to transition managers and project managers. The role also leverages advanced subject matter knowledge to lead complex projects and fosters productive relationships while offering mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Responsibilities
• Identifies and Manages revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and achieve and monitors deal performance to ensure the revenue recognition of the deals.
• Addresses customer escalations and related communications in a timely and proactive manner.
• Establishes and enforces the utilization of appropriate TTM processes, including reporting, risk management, lessons learned, quality control, escalation procedures, and communication strategies, as outlined in the scope of work.
• Supports in selecting and assigning project managers to lead various aspects of transition/transformation, including technical towers, support functions, third party contracts and governance.
• Handles financial management for transition/transformation activities, including budget setting and approval of forecasts.
• Handles the transition program encompassing all organizational functions, coordinating both internal and external project activities, while also assessing and reporting risks during the project and participating in the development and implementation of mitigation plans.
• Leads the overall transition/transformation team during the pursuit and transition/transformation phases of the deal.
• Reinforces and provides client training during the transition support period, including product training, user functionality, system administration, and case management system.
• Ensures the consistency, coherence, and alignment of all transition/transformation project plans with the overarching deal project plan and the customer's transition/transformation plans, while also taking the lead in executing these project plans.
• Provides support to project managers overseeing transition/transformation projects in crafting each project's scope of work, cost estimates, scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
• Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Graduate Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in project management, IT, transition implementation, or a related field.
