The Risk Manager assists in the development and execution of a standardized, Site or Enterprise-level Risk/Issue/Opportunity (R/I/O) Management process on a the Mission Operations, Communications, and Mission Support contract.  The risk management process focuses on R/I/Os that could directly cause impact to Mission/Site.  These can include both technical and non-technical R/I/Os such as resource priorities, schedule delays, facilities and customer satisfaction.  The Risk Manager assesses, analyzes, and proposes mitigations while managing the creation, tracking, and closure of R/I/Os related to the successful completion and/or delivery of a U.S. Government product or services. 

 

Position Responsibilities: 

·         Provides process support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of R/I/Os statements and handling plans 

·         Facilitates Risk Management efforts (i.e., risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning) for all product IPTs 

·         Facilitates and/or briefs multiple meetings or forums weekly and/or monthly 

·        Communicates risk posture and projects information to stakeholders 

·         Drives effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities 

·         Communicates project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner 

·         Remains flexible to changing priorities, is open to new ideas, and has the ability to multitask and change focus quickly, if necessary 

 

Required Qualifications: 

·         An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph 

·         A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree or 8 years of relevant experience, to include 3-5 years in Risk Management 

·         Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Government Leadership and Team members on a day-to-day basis 

·         Problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills 

·         Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential) 

 

Desired Qualifications: 

·       Project Management Professional (PMP) 

·       Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000 - $117,500
