JR59074 Engineer/Senior Engineer, PDE-MCT Standardization

As a Product Development Engineering - Manufacturing Central team (PDE-MCT) Standardization Engineer/ Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating program management efforts in the areas of engineering standardization and Best-Known Method (BKM) improvement programs across Micron network, both component and HBM assembly to ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of programs. You will work closely with key cross-functional teams in global sites in business processes development & enhancement with global sites for overall assembly performance improvement.  

Job responsibilities:

  • Project manage the component & HBM assembly manufacturing standardization & BKM improvement programs across Micron operation sites.
  • Utilize tools for Project Management to plan, scope out, communicate and execute project objectives and deliverables.
  • Collaborate and interact with key stakeholders; PDE, assembly sites, central team to ensure project deliverables are aligned with company objectives and schedules, leveraging available resources effectively.
  • Develop, enhance, and improve business processes with central/ site key functional teams to support the Micron operation activities.
  • Review and be part of change management processes / NPI reviews and drive BKM fanout activities.
  • Responsible to manage, track and progress monitoring the assembly change events thru JIRA management. This includes change request categorization & prioritization, task assignment to appropriate parties/ individual and generate reports on change event activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving the change management process. Implement enhancements to JIRA features as needed.
  • Continuously identify backend process/ operation improvement opportunities with program management processes and drive implementation.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional enabling projects and initiatives that support A/T strategic priorities and other company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with strong understanding of backend assembly processes/ operations or related manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis, analytical problem solving and project management skills.
  • Knowledge in systems such JIRA, Recipe Management System (RMS), Confluence, Agile, PowerBI, production is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to Micron’s fast paced and dynamic work environment; able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Good team player with good communication and leadership skills with ability to work with multicultural environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the message clearly and sharply both locally and globally.
  • Proficiency in critical computer applications like Excel, Word, Power Point & statistical tools.
