As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded firmware for our products, ensuring high performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: • Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of embedded firmware, translating business requirements into technical blueprints that are optimized for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficient. • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. • Customer Collaboration: Partner closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and objectives, crafting tailored IoT solutions that address their specific needs and exceed expectations. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of embedded firmware developers. • Embedded Firmware Development: Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded firmware solutions using C programming language. • RTOS and MCU Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of RTOS principles and MCU architectures (e.g., ARM, AVR) to architect and implement robust embedded systems. • Linux Integration: Oversee the integration of embedded systems with Linux environments, ensuring seamless kernel and user-space interactions. • Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL): Define and maintain HAL interfaces for various hardware components, promoting reusability and interoperability. • POSIX Development: Implement POSIX-compliant interfaces and functionalities to enhance cross-platform compatibility. • System Optimization: Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency. • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure thorough documentation of design specifications, test plans, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Professional & Technical Skills: • Proven Experience: Minimum 8 years in architecting embedded firmware applications. • Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Problem-Solving Acumen: A passion for tackling intricate challenges and devising elegant solutions. • Collaborative Spirit: A track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Proven track record of managing embedded firmware development projects from concept to delivery. • Extensive experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, RTLinux) and MCU architectures. • Strong familiarity with Linux development, including kernel and driver development. • Expertise in designing and implementing Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) for complex embedded systems. • Deep understanding of POSIX standards and their application in embedded firmware development.
