Job Summary

We are looking for lawyer with a disputes/litigation background that has the commercial awareness to utilise their skillset in an in-house environment and across multiple different contexts and disciplines, as well as an appetite to expand and develop regulatory expertise.
You will report to Deputy General Counsel, who leads the Comcast Cable International Regulatory team, and more broadly, you will be a member, and work with members, of the International Legal Team, all of whom work together on a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and compliance related projects. Job Description

Requirements

You will help advise in relation to actual or potential disputes involving Comcast Cable’s international businesses which cover managed communications and broadband services and technologies in the enterprise space, AdTech and syndication of Comcast Cable’s technologies. You will also have the opportunity to develop regulatory and compliance expertise to support international expansion and operational compliance, again in tandem with other members of the International Legal Team and also with teams in the US. You will work with outside counsel where the need arises.

While a command of the law is essential, the company expects you to provide advice based on a nuanced understanding of its business and its products as well as personnel and industry, and to devise the best solution for a problem - not simply the best “legal" solution. We are looking for someone who is well-rounded, can work independently and is not afraid to “roll their sleeves up and get stuck in”. It is about being creative in solving issues.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are priorities for us and we welcome and promote diversity amongst our people.  Diversity of thought is critical to the success of any business, and this is as true of the Legal function as elsewhere in the Group.
