Main Purpose:

We are looking for passionate, hard-working and collaborative individuals to join our two-year graduate development program. The program is designed to provide you with a structured series of rotations across our core trading business, in areas including Deals Desk, Operations and Analytics.

If selected for this program, you will have the opportunity to complete two 12-month rotations, both based in Calgary, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the business and opening up a future of unlimited opportunities within the Trafigura group.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

• A minimum of a 3.4 GPA in any field
• 0-2 years of postgraduate working experience
• Fluency in English - both oral and written
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of intellectual curiosity, passion, motivation and grit
• Ability to remove roadblocks and break down barriers to get the job done
• Passion for working in a collaborative, challenging and dynamic environment
• A global, innovative mindset

Please note that this is not a trading program: Those looking to enter a commercial (‘front line trading/ business development’’) role should expect to spend several years within a department after completing the program, ‘mastering’ the product specific techniques and skills that will ensure their long term career, be it management or commercial, is enhanced to guarantee their full career potential.
