What will you be doing:

Reporting to the Vice President, Consulting Services, the Associate, Consulting Services is responsible for creating and managing financial spend analysis, conducting supply chain operations analysis, conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and advising on next steps or changes based on  interpreting results. The Associate will play an active role in the problem solving aspect of engagements and completing project tasks within scope and budget. Nexera is a rapidly growing consulting organization, poised to truly make an impact in the changing healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and interpret spreadsheets, presentations and other deliverables using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project as necessary for client engagement.

  • Use expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel (Pivot Tables and Vlookups), PowerPoint, Access, project management software (e.g., MS Project) and flowcharting software (e.g., Visio) to create client deliverables accurately, with attention to detail, and on time.

  • Perform analysis of medical  and  surgical  products to  identify savings opportunities or perform  analysis of supply chain operations activities and data to identify operational enhancements, transformation, and savings.

  • Responsible for client and internal presentation creation and development of quality deliverables.

  • Participate in identifying business and technical problems and work with team to create innovative solutions.

  • Responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and using results to drive recommendations.

  • Participate in assessment, design, and implementation activities, which may involve client meetings, observations, data collection and analysis and operational tactical work.

  • Use knowledge of supply chain, finance, healthcare, or consulting operations background to assist clients in achieving maximum savings and efficient processes.

  • Assist in proposal development and support as requested.

  • Work effectively in a winning team environment, building positive client and peer relationships.

  • Grow healthcare supply chain subject matter knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • Business Operations Analysis

  • Supply Chain Operations Management

  • Operational Process Improvements

Experience:

  •  2 years’ experience in an analytical/financial capacity, with a consulting firm, in healthcare supply chain, healthcare provider supply chain, etc.

  • Fluent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e.: Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Project, Access/SQL experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated capability to lead and show value from their efforts

Education:

  • Bachelors

Working Conditions: Remote


 

Travel Requirements: Travel 81-100% within the US


 

Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.


 

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $51,000 - $95,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
