Join the Corporate Strategy team and play a key role in shaping and driving Micron’s strategy. Collaborate with a diverse group of customers across business units, finance, global operations, technology and product groups, sales, legal, and the people organization to deliver the annual strategic plan, orchestrate corporate strategic reviews, and spearhead high-impact strategic projects. You will lead strategic and quantitative analyses that support Micron’s investment decisions, business optimization, competitive strategy, and organizational development. The ideal candidate should possess strong strategic competence, exceptional analytical skills, comprehensive business and technical knowledge, and outstanding executive communication abilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the development of annual strategic plans by coordinating and guiding cross-functional virtual teams. Collaborate to finalize the strategic plan content and conduct comprehensive analysis to ensure alignment between the operational plan and the long-term strategic vision.

  • Identify and develop corporate strategic topics to drive Micron’s growth and deliver positive financial impact. Manage topic pipeline, lead workgroups, create frameworks, conduct strategic analysis, develop executive presentations, manage workflows, drive consensus, and track action items.

  • Support business unit and functional strategic plans and align on the long-term technology and product strategy.

  • Support long range planning. Work with market intelligence, global operations, finance, and business units to develop and enhance the supply and allocation strategy.

  • Create Corporate Strategy newsletters. Develop and maintain the strategy process guide and document.

  • Collaborate with the global communications team to develop the content for strategy town halls that communicate the strategy to the entire Micron organization.

Qualifications and skills:

  • 8+ years of semiconductor industry experience in strategy, business, finance, or operations. Deep knowledge of the memory and storage products, technology, market segments, competition, and ecosystem.

  • Degree in STEM fields or business. MBA is a strong plus.

  • Past experience must include executive level presentations and ability to influence executive-level decisions.

  • Rich experience in managing cross-functional, high-impact programs with close interactions with senior roles in business, engineering, and operations.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Experience in Tableau and Power BI is preferred.

  • Strong capability to cope with ambiguous or uncertain environment and drive for clarity.

  • Proven track record of timely execution, cross-functional leadership, and consensus building, with a strong bias for action. Self-starter in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with dynamic demands.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication. Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$148,000.00 - $330,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
