Leidos's Digital Modernization group is seeking an On-Site Tier II Lead to support the HEITS program in Washington DC. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services (HEITS) for the continued operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN).
The USSS On-Site lead will assist with overall responsibility with respect to the execution of the HEITS Service Lifecycle
Primary Responsibilities
Manage classified enterprise IT and telecommunication asset inventories.
Manage classified enterprise IT and telecommunication operation and maintenance services to include Service Desk.
Manage the IT and telecommunication hardware and software lifecycle.
Maintain the replacement and maintenance of the IT and telecommunication equipment and consumable inventories.
Manage classified enterprise IT and telecommunication asset inventories.
Manage classified enterprise IT and telecommunication operation and maintenance services to include Service Desk,
Technical leadership of projects with skills in coordinating, trouble shooting, identification of issues, risks, and schedules including managing O&M teams around specific platform sustainment objectives.
Maintain the trouble ticketing system required for dispatch and disposition and manage the Tier 2 personnel assigned to support maintenance dispatch.
Transparent and timely communications, reports, and regular status meetings with internal team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
Working knowledge of managing classified enterprise IT and telecommunication asset inventories.
At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in the successful IT operations and management of aspects maintaining classified enterprise IT and telecommunication services at customer and other infrastructure locations
Knowledge and experience with IT and telecommunication hardware and software lifecycle Knowledge of industry and government best practices
Working knowledge of maintaining IT and telecommunication equipment and consumable inventories
Working knowledge of managing classified enterprise IT and telecommunication operation and maintenance services (e.g., Service Desk, Desk side Support, Network Operations Center, PKI Registration Authority, COMSEC material custody, spares management).
Knowledge of managing the replacement of IT telecommunication consumables
Experience in ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance
