The Role

Proofpoint is seeking a motivated IT Professional to join our Global IT Support Staff. We are looking for an individual who can join our team in our Draper, UT office. This employee will be responsible for providing end-user support related to laptop hardware & software applications. Employees rely on experience and judgement as well as pre-established procedures and documentation to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues presented through ITHelp tickets.  

Your day-to-day

  • Troubleshoot and resolve ITHelp tickets in a timely manner
  • Provide technical support with computer hardware and software
  • Complete IT onboarding and offboarding for employees.
  • Hardware provisioning and desk setups for end users
  • Assist onsite and remote users with IT related inquiries
  • Assist IT Management and other IT teams in other projects as needed  

What you bring to the team

  • Minimum 3+ years IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to successfully work as part of a team.
  • Experience supporting both Mac/PC
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with both hardware and software
  • Familiarity of desktop applications, (i.e., Office 365, VPN, imaging software, etc.)
  • Familiarity of other IT disciplines, (i.e., Troubleshooting, Server operations, Video conference, etc.)
  • Proven Customer Service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Any technical certifications are a plus (A+, Net+, Sec+ etc.)

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 35.30 - 51.77 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 27.87 - 40.88 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 25.53 - 37.44 USD
