Store Brands Corporate Intern – Summer 2025

Position Summary

This 11-week full-time internship offers hands-on experience within our Store Brands team. You’ll lead or contribute to projects while engaging in networking, professional development, and career exploration activities. Our interns have an increased likelihood of receiving a post-graduation role offer.

Program Dates

May 28th – August 8th, 2025

Work Schedule

• Hybrid Model: Three in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) at our Woonsocket, RI location; two remote workdays.

• Compensation: $23 per hour for a 40-hour workweek.

• Holidays: July 4th off (company holiday) and two days of paid leave.

• Housing: No housing stipend provided; preference for candidates who can commute to the Woonsocket headquarters.

About the Store Brands Team

Our team delivers high-quality products across our brand portfolio to meet sales and margin goals. Key functions include Product Development, Brand Management, Project Management, Business Management, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Consumer Experience.

Internship Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new items.

• Assist in updating existing products and developing new brands to achieve front-store sales and margin objectives.

• Ensure timely execution of new items, refreshes, and product updates with the support of Project Managers.

Examples of Past Internship Projects

• Database maintenance to improve accuracy.

• Pricing strategy development and recommendations.

• Creation of brand assets for marketing campaigns.

• Technical and experiential product assessments.

• Competitive market assessments focused on assortment recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience through active roles in student organizations, sports, or work-related projects.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Internship or work experience in related fields such as business or healthcare.

• Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and budgeting tasks, utilizing Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and IF statements to summarize data.

• Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations (experience with ThinkCell is a plus) and Word for documenting procedures or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Interest in the retail/consumer products industry, merchandising principles, manufacturing, and customer insights.

• Experience working with data; ability to leverage research, data, and analytics to develop recommendations.

• Interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health Retail upon graduation.

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation date between September 2025 and August 2026.

• Majors, minors, or concentrations relevant to the position include Merchandising, Retail, Data Science, Sciences, Engineering (STEM), or Marketing.

Additional Information

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role, including participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.
