Role

An essential position within the digital marketing department, you’ll play a key role in the growth of customer acquisition and retention, CRM and data management, maximise conversion and engagement and appeal to the business’s demographics and requirements. You will own the day-today execution, optimisation and monitoring of email marketing, data and analysis. The role requires a natural self-starter for the high-volume, year-round promotion of shows, tours and venues across a wide variety of genres and events.

About you

  • Experience in CRM or delivering email marketing for e-commerce, music or entertainment
  • Hands on experience using CMS platforms, HTML and Google Analytics 
  • Experience or understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud 
  • A wide awareness of music genres, and the ability to group relevant artists 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills 
  • Understanding of GDPR compliance 
  • Analytical approach and evaluation 
  • Ability to set deadlines and work towards them 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Understanding of key analytics and reporting tools to translate data into insights 
  • Outstanding attention to detail

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist the team with implementing CRM strategy and email marketing campaigns for multiple tours, events, and nationwide venues 
  • Plotting weekly content and devising weekly campaign calendars 
  • Execute the email plan for consumer and commercial needs
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of our data, customer behaviour and segmentation techniques
  • Liaise with a variety of teams including marketing, PR, ticketing, design, website and social for inspiring content creation and messaging alignment
  • Plan, segment, and create targeted audiences for campaigns
  • Work with the digital marketing manager to improve customer engagement and drive conversion, data acquisition, loyalty, retention and enrichment strategies
  • Monitor the performance of all campaigns, own the insights and report all activity daily/weekly/monthly
  • Build an understanding of GDPR and data protection guidelines, working with the Digital Marketing Manager and data governance 
  • Fulfil partnership requirements as directed by the Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager
  • Work towards targets and KPIs as directed by the Digital Marketing Manager 
  • Support the wider team with all broader campaign strategies 
  • Actively contribute and provide recommendations, planning and initiatives for improvement and development
  • Work with external agencies and internal development teams within the organisation as required
  • Identify and communicate key email marketing trends and insights
  • Troubleshoot and report technical issues and errors
