  • In cooperation with colleagues from Category Purchasing, you will assess and qualify new suppliers and, where appropriate, propose replacements for existing ones.
  • You will develop supplier partnerships with the aim of improving quality, optimizing costs, and enhancing manufacturing processes (Lean, VAVE).
  • When a quality issue related to materials or components arises, you will be responsible for investigating it and implementing corrective actions.
  • You will plan and conduct regular supplier audits in line with ISO 9001:2000, VDA 6.3, and company-specific requirements, and define preventive measures.
  • You will report directly to the EIMEA Supply Chain Director and work closely with the Quality department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role (ideally directly in Supplier Quality Development – SQD).
  • Fluent English, used on a daily basis when communicating with your manager, EMEA colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing according to ISO 19011 and VDA 6.3, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 3C, PDCA, etc.).
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SAP, quality management software, and Microsoft Office.
