Job Description Summary:

To provide OhioHealth business units, supply chain partners, affiliates and joint ventures, (hereafter, customer) a primary supply chain support liaison. Primary responsibilities of this position include brokering services provided by the supply chain Centers of Expertise to assigned customer. This position must have executive presence with an extensive communication skill set to proactively identify customer needs, assist in setting priorities, and to guide the execution of developed plans. This resource must maintain a high level of business literacy about customer growth plans, implementation timelines, financial position and strategy. This position influences customer behavior to improve the overall effectiveness of the supply chain organization. This position keeps customer updated on supply chain initiatives, policies and procedures. The SCBRM anticipates supply chain business unit gaps and develops and executes action plans, to prevent future problems and to bring about change.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Acts as the business relationship Manager responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication of business needs and requirements to the supply chain organization. Needs and requirements to be inclusive of growth, onboarding, training, and compliance to standards and policy. Has a strong understanding of supply chain operations, customer policy and processes, key drivers and measures of success for the customer, and the short and long term direction of the customer. Works collaboratively with the Director of the assigned area/s, supports and promotes strategic supply chain initiatives. Helps develop and implement customer relationship strategies. Works closely with the senior leaders of the assigned area/s to understand their needs, and serves as the initial point of contact for supply chain services. Leads the supply chain portion of implementation plans and timelines for organization acquisitions, new construction, partnerships or affiliations. Broker services provided by supply chain COEs, GPO group purchasing organization n , or distributors to ensure successful implementation. Articulates and manages the customer's expectations. Works with the senior leaders of the assigned area/s on business strategy and ensures business requirements are defined, documented, and communicated within the supply chain organization. Participates in feasibility planning activities for supply chain services and solutions.

Facilitate two way communications regarding business requirements between the customers and the supply chain organization. Provide valuable insight in the development of supply chain process, systems and tool development. Support the requisition to check, CVA and sourcing process via communication with customer work groups and leadership Meetings. Drive improved supply chain performance metrics, KPIs and top decile performance measures. Provide direction, feedback and the support needed to build a strong and effective supply chain team. Support customer supply chain needs through consultation and education to ensure the customer achieves the best possible supply chain process, supply or service outcome. Communicate and support the supply chain strategic plan and initiatives to customer. Educate the customers about operations, structure, and resources. Drive an enterprise-wide mindset.

Develop and maintain supply chain integration project plan inclusive of COE accountabilities, dependencies, milestones and timelines. Plan shall meet customer needs and supply chain standards. Plan will ensure customer has the necessary drugs, supplies and services in place for patient care at time of go-live. Develop and maintain other project plans as required.

Support supply chain COE initiatives and timelines. Provide insight to COE teams and leadership. Participate in decisions, and provide problem resolution as needed. Support vendor relationships with customers and advocate OhioHealth interests through the vendor relationship. Maintain ongoing vendor relationships to best represent supply chain needs in partnership with customers. Additional Job Description:

Degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare or Business Administration OR 20+ years in a HealthCare or related field. Understanding of Visio, MS Project and MS Office, and other project tools as needed. Experience in management of projects and project management fundamentals. Basic work management organizational skills time management, basic task definition and scheduling. Project management, general management and business Experience The associate project manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the project team with project reporting responsibilities to the project sponsors and other project stakeholders for all projects, OR reports to a Lead Project Manager when participating as a technical area project lead on a large scale project or program implementation. The position requires abilities to be able to coordinate the development of supply chain project requirements, scope, project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively integrate activities of project teams with the assistance of other functional area team members, practice managers, and Directors, depending on Experience and the complexity of the project. Additionally, the ability to assemble project teams, lead status meetings, assign individual responsibilities, and develop the project schedule. Knowledge of project management and Experience as a project team lead is strongly preferred. 1 year or more in a project management team lead role or Experience leading projects in a healthcare setting.
