ABOUT THE ROLE:

Skechers Digital Team is seeking a Loyalty Solutions Architect reporting to the Director, Digital Architecture, Consumer Domain. As the Loyalty Solutions Architect, you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver consumer capabilities that improve the lifetime value of Skechers Consumers. You will work collaboratively with program owners, vendors, and engineers to ideate, architect, and execute consumer centric experiences that will convert one-time shoppers into lifelong consumers. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader, have hands-on full-stack technical knowledge in enterprise technologies related to Skecher’s consumer domain, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment. You should have knowledge of consumer programs from an architecture/industry perspective, and you should have strong hands-on experience designing solutions on the Salesforce Core Platform (including configuration, integration, and data model best practices).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Responsible for the full technical life cycle of consumer platform capabilities which includes: 
    • Capability roadmap and technical architecture in alignment to consumer experience 
    • Technical planning, design, and execution 
    • Operations, analytics/reporting, and adoption 
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, program owners, engineers, quality assurance, and production support to measure and produce the desired business outcomes (consumer acquisition, consumer lifetime value, engagement, ...).  
  • Technology enablement of consumer loyalty engagement and experiences across all last-mile applications (e-commerce, marketing automation, retail, customer service, native mobile app, ...). 
  • Mastering direct to consumer data domain and consumer data lifecycle including data acquisition, data quality control, data movement, data storage, data activation, and data disposition. 
  • Technical integration architecture with relevant direct-to-consumer data management systems such as CRM, ESP, iAM/iDM, CDP, data warehouse, PIM, DAM, OMS, ERP, ... 
  • Leveraging analytics/reporting platform to improve product adoption and business outcomes. 
  • Responsible for creating technical specifications around the code and configuration. 
  • Provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that architectural best practices are followed. This includes designing for performance, scalability, future maintenance, and platform governor limits / best practices. You will also be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to ensure consumer data is sound for Salesforce consumer ecosystem.   
  • Design and provide architectural oversight for Loyalty(Spring Boot) microservices running on AWS ECS, including containerization strategies, CI/CD pipelines, resilience patterns, and integration with cloud-native services to support high-scale consumer experiences.  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience with direct-to-consumer e-commerce, mobile native app, marketing, retail, and call center technologies. 
  • Experience with analytics/reporting technologies. 
  • Experience with enterprise architect design 
  • Experience with software development 
  • Experience with enterprise application integration with the following data domains: customer, transactions (orders/returns), catalog/products. 
  • Experience with data platforms (databases sql/nosql, s3 datalakes, data warehouse, datamarts, data quality, data governance, analytics/reporting) 
  • Experience with integration (API, REST/SOAP, micro services, ETL, message queue, event streaming, SFTP) 
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or MS Azure) 
  • Experience with GDPR, CCPA, and other consumer privacy regulations. 
  • Experience with scrum, lean, scale, and other agile practices. 
  • Experience with Salesforce Development frameworks (LWC, Aura, Apex Controllers, Apex Triggers, etc.)  
  • Experience with clicks-not-code development (Screen Flows, Record Launched Flows, etc.)  
  • Experience with Salesforce industries tools including decision tables, data processing engine, and batch management  
  • Experience with routine Salesforce administration (Object Model, Sharing Rules, Validation Rules, etc.)  
  • Experience working with code in a git Source Control system 
  • Experience working with SFDX project structures including creating and managing scratch orgs, pulling code, and managing code conflicts  
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting Apex test classes  
  • Experience with CI/CD as well as managing Salesforce Deployments between environments 
  • Experience with performing code reviews and working with developers to adhere to coding best practices as well as ensuring that all code written will be able to scale appropriately  
  • Experience with designing software solutions to meet requirements of business partners, resulting in detailed technical specifications that provide development team with the information required to action on requirements  
  • Experience managing a team of developers across multiple projects  
  • Experience building technical requirements against the functional requirements provided by business users and communicating that information to the development team, along with assisting in resolution of any issues that arise during development  
  • Must hold at least one of the following Salesforce Certifications (Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, JavaScript Developer 1)  
  • The ability to understand the overall scope of the project, complete tasks in a timely fashion and create estimates  
  • The ability to communicate technical solutions and issues clearly with business users to facilitate understanding of the solution and resolve any discrepancies  
  • The ability to work with technical resources across several different disciplines and collect requirements and required documentation to facilitate development activities  
  • Be willing to learn and grow with new certifications  
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating with a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels  
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and confident team player with a strong focus on business outcome who can present effectively even under adverse conditions 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer science/information technology degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 12+ years of experience architecting and delivering consumer platforms in cloud-based environments. 
  • 12+ years digital direct to consumer project experience in a hands-on technical leadership position 
  • 9+ years experience with data engineering with a focus on consumer data. 
  • 6+ years experience with powering loyalty journeys via loyalty technology platforms. 
  • 6+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM architecture or other customer relationship management architecture. 

The pay range for this role is $180,000 - $200,000/yr USD.
