OVERVIEW:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to define objectives, scope, and project execution timelines in support of Dick’s Media Network in store.

  • Define and set expectations to drive and facilitate project meetings.  Ensure objectives are met and actions are clearly outlined.

  • Partner with internal and external agency resources to design and distribute digital content & digitally integrated retail displays.

  • Actively drive accountability between all key cross-functional teams and external vendors involved by gathering status updates, completion progress and misses to deadlines or budget.

  • Identify barriers and obstacles that will impact timely execution of projects.  Ideate options to problem solve in partnership with stakeholders until alignment is gained.  Set action plan and drive execution to overcome.  

Present project updates, project cycle and expected results to key stakeholders, including the Director or other leadership across the division and cross-functional partners.

Process Implementation and Operational Standards

  • Work closely with the Director of Dick’s Media Network – Physical Retail Integration to identify opportunities for efficiencies and operational excellence.  This includes generating new techniques, solutions or technology needs that can improve quality, increase efficiency, and support elevated storytelling through design.

  • Collaborate with the leadership to create consistent departmental standards and best practices to ensure all project and distribution deadlines are met with efficiencies.  Hold teammates accountable for deadline adherence, inefficiencies, and accurate execution.

  • Define operational standards in partnership with leadership to manage programming of content, system maintenance requirements, support tools, and issue resolution.

Cross-Functional Partnerships

  • Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring teammates are building action plans in accordance with the operational standards of the Dick’s Media Network in store.

  • Work closely with Content Management Systems provider to ensure levels are met and optimized.

Determine actionable opportunities to assign ownership across project teams, including providing accountability measures to ensure success of each project deliverable.

Program Management & Development

  • Manage execution for each in-store digital program. This includes content souring, planning, & deploying content.

  • Provide leadership with reporting based on performance metrics and utilization of supply.

  • Drive content development with creative teams and brands in support of programmable spaces, displays integrated into product categories and all other displays in sales and service areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Marketing, Operations, Business or closely related field

  • 5-7 years experience
