The Payroll Analyst plays a critical role within our US Payroll services team to ensure timely and accurate payroll for our US employees and provide support for the same employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collate payroll change instructions from stakeholders via workday interfaces/reporting, spreadsheets, and emails.
  • Review instructions for completeness and accuracy and prepare for submission to payroll partners/systems across multiple countries.
  • Process payroll input into system.
  • Maintain bi-weekly checklists.
  • Download reports for review and preparation of reconciliations.
  • Complete pay data reconciliation for review & approval.
  • Manage escalated payroll queries within ServiceNow case management to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain payroll archiving and purging.
  • Prepare payroll journal reporting.
  • Assist with maintaining payroll processing guides and communication with other HR teams.
  • Assist with payroll marketing tasks, ad hoc reporting and general payroll projects as needed.
  • Extend payroll processing support during year end payroll testing. Help support run payroll and time and absence for IO projects on configurations affecting Payroll and TL processing.
  • Completing other tasks as directed by the payroll manager.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of payroll experience 
  • Basic finance knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of excel skills with ability to collate and compare data sets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting experience
  • Previous experience in HR service/contact center supporting HR, payroll and/or benefits.
  • Experience with Workday payroll, ADP iHCM and papaya Global systems.
  • Good communications skills.
