Role and Responsibilities

How you make a difference
As an HR Officer, you will be at the heart of our HR operations, ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently throughout the employee lifecycle. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will directly contribute to a high-quality employee experience and compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS and related systems
  • Processing lifecycle events such as onboarding, job changes, promotions, and offboarding
  • Supporting payroll by preparing and verifying employee data changes
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements
  • Coordinating and managing employee documentation, including contracts and letters
  • Responding to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Assisting with HR reporting and data analysis
  • Collaborating with People Business Partners and other teams on HR initiatives
  • Identifying and supporting improvements in HR administrative processes

As an HR Officer, you’ll be part of a diverse People & Workplace Solutions Team. Within our People team we have around 12 colleagues —some based in Belgium and the rest in the Netherlands. Skills and Qualifications

As our new HR Officer, you bring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive information. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy owning your tasks, and are always looking for ways to improve processes. You’re comfortable in your role and bring energy and curiosity to everything you do. With excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, you focus on delivering quality work while maintaining boundaries and ensuring processes are followed effectively.

We also request

  • A completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBO or HBO), or equivalent working and thinking level combined with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • A good command of both Dutch and English at a professional level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR) is a plus
