A quick run-down of the job

We are looking for a Working Student in People Operations to support our People Ops team in creating a great experience for both candidates and employees. You will gain hands-on experience across various HR functions, from talent acquisition to employee engagement, while contributing to scaling our People Ops processes.

This is a unique opportunity for a student looking to develop their career in HR and learn about the ins and outs of People Operations in a dynamic Web3 environment. You’ll work closely with our People, Operations & Finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while being empowered to take ownership of specific tasks and initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for new hires and departing employees

  • Help manage our HR tools and platforms, including our ATS (Ashby) and HRIS (HiBob), ensuring data accuracy and assisting in process optimization

  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives such as organizing remote team events and supporting multiple people operations and talent projects

  • Collaborate on the continuous improvement of policies and processes, with a focus on scalability and efficiency

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining employee records and documentation

  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives led by the team

What makes a good candidate

We’re looking for someone with a passion for people, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are detail-oriented, and want to gain experience in a global People Ops function, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Must be located in Germany (Berlin is a plus)

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, ideally in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and/or MS Office

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about People Ops processes and best practices

  • Prior experience in a People Operations, HR, or administrative role is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Eager to work in a diverse, remote-first environment and comfortable with the flexibility this requires
