The Role
CAA is seeking an Assistant based in Los Angeles for a unique position at the company in the Strategic Client Advisory department, at the intersection of Motion Picture, Television and Corporate Strategy. The position is part of a small team that works to maximize the value of our Film & TV clients in an evolving media landscape.
The Assistant will support two Executives in an administrative capacity, including calls, scheduling and expenses. Additionally, the role will support the group on project work and management.
The candidate must have a passion for Film and Television and an eagerness to deepen their understanding of the underlying business. The role requires a self-starter with excellent skills in organization, written and interpersonal communication, presentation, collaboration, stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
General
• Answer calls, lead scheduling & manage expenses for two executives
• Manage team’s project & task tracker
• Support in building materials & preliminary research
• Support in the planning & execution of SCA-driven events (e.g., Strategic Mingling)
• Build & maintain database of image assets (e.g., Film & TV posters, logos of key buyers, etc.)
• Miscellaneous project support
Talent-Company CoE
• Take notes in weekly group meetings, synthesize & share out
• Research, build & share weekly TalCo newsletter recapping relevant client & industry news
• Support in research efforts on talent-driven production companies and related topics
• Support in building materials for TalCo initiative and client accounts, as needed
• Support Associate in managing core proprietary databases
• Support Associate in managing active client database (incl. updating all relevant information)
• Build & update org charts of priority talent-driven production companies
• Manage scheduling of all group calls & meetings
• Maintain initiatives’ internal infrastructure (e.g., Teams, OneDrive)
Buyer Landscape
• Build & update org charts of key Film & TV buyers, coordinating & sharing with relevant departments
• Support in end-to-end project tracking (e.g., updating status of core projects by studio)
• Maintain connectivity with CAA Data & Luminate, as needed
• Support on buildout & updating of additional key materials
Qualifications:
• 2+ years administrative assistant experience
Location
This role will be based out of our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $22.00 - $29.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
