Bank Network Management provides best in class banking services to our business partners and clients, while strengthening regulatory compliance, governance, and control over Citi owned bank accounts. BNM global functions include Relationship Management, Regulatory, Bank Expense Optimization, Bank Signatory Management (BSM), Third Party Risk and In Business Risk & Control. The Risk & Control Analyst is a key role responsible for driving the governance framework to ensure a robust control environment across all Bank Network Management (BNM) global functions. 

Responsibilities:

Management Control Assessment (MCA)

  • Maintain BNM’s MCA Inventory in Citi Risk & Controls
  • Risk and Control Self-Assessment: Lead Continuous Risk Management reviews and annual risk completeness reviews with BNM management and host reviews with business stakeholders/partners

Control Effectiveness

  • Control Test: Perform ongoing control monitoring, independent control testing and produce management oversight control reporting.  Determine enhancements needed based on changes within BNM functions
  • Assess residual risk above risk appetite and work with Senior Leadership team to establish controls and monitoring methods to effectively mitigate the risk to an acceptable level either through corrective action plans, amendments to control design or risk acceptance
  • Creation of process flows to identify risks and control gaps; recommend appropriate and practical solutions

Ideal background:

  • 1-2 years of experience in areas related to internal control, external or internal audit, compliance, risk management
  • Bachelor’s or University degree
  • Fluent English knowledge with excellent communication skills
  • Strong PowerPoint and intermediate Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Citi Risk & Controls (MCA modules)
  • Research, analysis, and inquisitive skills
  • Conceptual, practical thinking and judgment skills
  • Good presentation, communication, facilitation skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
