The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Tax Accountant to join our Tax team. The Tax team is responsible for tax planning and reporting as it relates to the funds, the management companies, and the family office. The tax team interacts with various groups within the firm on a regular basis as well as with external parties such as: investors, managers, fund administrator, and other service providers. The candidate should bring a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of assigned projects and tasks.
What you’ll do
The Tax Accountant will handle day-to-day tax responsibilities and report directly to the Co-Head of Global Tax. This person will assist in preparation of various tax computations and work papers for partnership tax filings. The Tax Accountant will interact with external tax service providers and review partnership tax compliance prepared by outside tax advisors, including estimates of partnership taxable income items and U.S. tax withholdings for foreign investors. The Tax Accountant will respond to requests and notices from various taxing authorities, coordinate and prepare ASC 740 analyses for the funds, and research the tax treatment of complex financial instruments and corporate actions. This person may also assist in estate planning and tax-matters for the family-office side and will help with ad-hoc assignments and special projects.

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $110,000 and $130,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
