Title: Security Group Senior Analyst/Subject Matter Expert
Location: Washington, D.C. (Remote work approved for this position)
Security Clearance: Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)
Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 / annual
Schedule: Due to the nature of law enforcement work and operation, position may require occasional support outside of core working hours, as well as intermittent weekend support, mission dependent.

Job Summary:
Provides project management support, analysis, and subject matter advice specific to support national projects and investigations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Analysis - Analyze USPIS investigations to identify USPS systemic weaknesses causing revenue loss; analyze financial and other investigative data in support of mail fraud, narcotics and money laundering investigations.
- Research - Data-mine records and systems, databases, etc. and conduct thorough review of USPIS and USPS policies and procedures; recommend risk mitigation steps; recommend investigative protocols and policy implementation.
- COR Support - Facilitate the filling of positions (assist the COR with labor category determinations, drafting of job descriptions, and performing pricing analysis and recommendations). Coordinating clearances and providing support/liaison with the SISC. Supporting cDiary system data analysis and system modifications. Maintaining effective communications among KACE management, staff, and Inspection Service stakeholders. Supporting cost analysis, developing estimates, and drafting narratives supporting the development of funding requirements.
- Contractor Resourcing Process - Coordinate the sourcing of contractor support, evaluating/analyzing supporting documentation for completeness, relevance, accuracy, and business case. Facilitate/organize program reviews with stakeholders, monitor progress through the process. Organize meetings, provide background information and advice about certain rules or other issues concerning requests, communicate meeting results and notifications.
- Other Duties as assigned - The Senior Analyst may be tasked with other projects supporting the Inspection Service mission.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 20 or more years of Law Enforcement experience involving the management of people and programs; project planning and development; strategic planning, goal setting and measurement.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing sufficient to express thoughts and ideas to various audiences, both professional and non-professional people;
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities associated with a wide variety of USPS systems and programs;
- Ability to review cases, incidents and events to determine the scope of potential financial losses; fraudulent activities, and suspicious transactions, in support of national projects, initiatives and investigations;
- Ability to schedule and meet project deliverables, reviewing project progress and recommending changes in methodology where necessary in support of national program related projects;
- Significant and relevant subject matter experience in law enforcement criminal and security programs included but not limited to USPS revenue fraud, mail fraud, narcotics, money laundering, etc. for assigned project or program and have demonstrated competency to complete project deliverables;
- Experience with project management comparable to USPS programs or projects;
- Ability to plan, coordinate and monitor projects of national scope and significance;
- Advanced knowledge and ability to originate unique methods and procedures;
- Relevant experience including but not limited to extensive knowledge of analytical techniques; experience in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data to assist in completing complex national projects, and produce finished reports.

- Must be a U.S Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
- Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
- Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening.

- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
