Job Description Summary:

Small businesses have always been at PayPal’s foundation since the company’s inception. Today, PayPal serves over 34 million merchant accounts, and the vast majority are small businesses. PayPal aims to solve two core problems for these small businesses: helping them get more customers and helping them manage cash flow. To better enable PayPal to solve these problems, the Small Business and Financial Services Group has been formed with teams accountable for bringing together all products and services that help small business owners run and grow their businesses. The Sr. Manager of Business Operations reports directly to the Sr. Director of Business Operations for the Small Business and Financial Services Group and leads a diverse set of priorities to ensure effective business management and team alignment.

The Sr. Manager of Business Operations will play a key role in this mission. You'll lead a diverse set of priorities to ensure effective business management and team alignment.  

  

Your day-to-day:  

  

  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across the business unit. Identify process improvements and implement changes to streamline operations 

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Commercial Leaders to develop and execute strategic plans. Support the alignment of operational activities with the company’s long-term goals and objectives 

  • Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion  

  • Leadership Updates: Develop and deliver presentations to leadership, keeping them informed on the progress of key initiatives. Provide clear, concise updates and actionable insights to support strategic decisions 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the Commercial Leaders and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns promptly 

  

  

What do you need to bring:  

  • 7+ years of business planning and experience in a large-scale, matrixed, high-growth environment 

  • 2+ year of management consulting or similar work preferred 

  • Proven track record of success in collaborating and executing in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong project management and organizational skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • A passion for helping small businesses succeed

$99300 to $216040
