OVERVIEW:
Join the Team Driving Success! Exciting opportunities await at the DICK'S Sporting Goods 6th Distribution Center opening in Fort Worth, TX!
We're looking to hire a Systems Administrator to play a pivotal role in the setup, hiring, training, and launch of this cutting-edge facility.
Role Responsibilities:
DCIT Special Project, Asset Management, and Supply Chain Run Capital Support
Procure, Install and Maintain IT assets in accordance with corporate IT Policy.
Manage YoY DCIT refresh budget and reporting on a quarterly basis.
Generate YoY spending allocations.
Identify and plan special projects outside of the normal run rate bucket
Track daily capital and expense spending for the assigned DC
Provide regular and consistent onsite testing, quality assurance support, and validation for system enhancements, capital projects, modernizations, upgrades, and outages
Requires collaboration with internal and external DC stakeholders.
Working extend and nontraditional work hours in order to meet the needs of the operations
Supply Chain System Support
Maintain all local application configuration for WM, MHE, Put to light, Reporting & Labor Management Applications.
Meet regularly with DSG Engineers to review SOP standards and discuss updates and communicate impacts to the Operations.
Partner with DSG IT/Tech and external vendors through weekly updates and status reviews.
Partner with the DC Operations, Engineers, Transportation, and Vendor Relations teams to develop and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous improvement activities stakeholders outside of Supply Chain (DSG IT/Tech and local/regional vendors)
Tier One Issue Identification & Resolution
Respond to Operations inquiries, prioritizing issue escalation in partnership with the corporate Help Desk
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently, minimizing downtimes to DC Operations
Partner with Labor Management to create and maintain SOP documentation.
Support issue resolution including testing and go-live support with corporate CSC technicians.
Monitor IT systems and networks for potential issues, promptly identifying and escalating critical incidents.
Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to facilitate advanced troubleshooting and ensure resolution of complex issues.
Design / Gap Analysis and Configuration Change Control
Identify, develop and validate Business Intelligence reporting needs.
Participating in quarterly SOX reviews of WM and connecting systems.
Responsible and accountable for merchandise integrity and system accuracy by auditing users regularly and maintaining network uniformity.
Conversion Planning, Communication and Execution
Partner with DSG IT/Tech and external vendors through weekly updates and status reviews.
Partner with the Operations Teams in each building, Engineers, Transportation, and Vendor Relations to develop and propose continuous improvement initiatives within distribution and fulfillment by managing DSG IT and our outside vendors’ roles in our process improvements.
Teammate Development & Engagement
Encourage teammate participation in quarterly check-ins and skip level meetings with an emphasis on development.
Provide coaching where necessary to fill in appropriate skills gaps
Ensure supply chain business goals are communicated and aligned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years experience
WM - Active Cloud & WMMA experience a plus
Start up DC experience a plus
