Serves as a technical and functional expert in Workday HCM. Will manage and optimize Workday modules such as Core Human Capital Modula (HCM). Will utilize expertise in data analytics, integrations, and system configuration to enhance and streamline HR processes, improve system functionality, and drive strategic initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring that HRIS solutions meet the operational needs of the HR department and align with organizational goals.

What You'll Do
- Assist in configuring and maintaining various Workday modules, ensuring they align with organizational policies and user needs.
- Support configuration changes in Workday based on user needs and business requirements
- Configure, maintain and optimize the Workday HCM system, including module setup, business process creation, security, and reporting
- Provide advanced technical support for Workday HCM modules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution in collaboration with IT and HR teams.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity within Workday, performing regular audits and updates to ensure compliance with data standards.
- Assist with data migration and integration tasks as needed.
- Develop complex Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR decision-making.
- Work closely with IT and other HR specialists to implement system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Address and resolve escalated HRIS issues that require specialized knowledge beyond Tier 1 and 2 support. This includes troubleshooting user access problems, data discrepancies, and system errors.
- Create standard reports for HR metrics, such as headcount and turnover rates, and assist users in generating basic ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the HRIS and recommend solutions to streamline workflows and enhance user experience.
- Monitor user access and permissions to maintain system security and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies
- Participate in training sessions for new functionalities and best practices to stay up to date with new Workday features and updates.
What You'll Bring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments
- Experience with EIBs, calculated fields, and Workday Studio or similar integration tools is a plus.
- Experience with system upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintaining data integrity
- In-depth understanding of HR processes such as payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws to ensure HRIS compliance
- Proficiency in systems like Workday, and SAP SuccessFactors
- Proficiency in Workday HCM modules, reporting, and business process configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with cross-functional Workday administration including security design and business process management.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HRIS management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Workday Pro certifications in one or more HCM functional modules.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, SHRM-CP).
- Experience with implementation, integration, and report building is highly desired.
- Experience with specific HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. (e.g., HIPAA).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
