Job Description

Crossroads C&I Toronto Ontario is currently hiring a Fabricator who is responsible for the daily production At CCI - Toronto.  Fabricators create insulation specifically ordered for any unique situation. As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. This unique offering sets CCI apart from our competitors.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Efficiently operate fabrication equipment like a ban saw and capable of learning other types of saws and equipment.
  • Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Maintain quality and housekeeping.
  • Comply with all safety requirements.
  • Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 23 kg.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks.

What qualifications do you need?

  • Compute basic math problems.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
