We’re looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join Team Snapchat with a strong expertise in Creator Marketing (Influencer Marketing) and a deep experience of creating a variety of digital and social media strategies with creators at heart. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where culture is just as important as impact. Your role will be to partner and build long-lasting relationships with some of the biggest clients in the region, and to create, own and drive high-profile, newsworthy and best-in-class creative campaigns on Snapchat. To achieve this, you will excel in conversations with senior marketing and creative decision-makers - and ideally, will already have some good connections in this space. 

Through your work, you will cement and further grow Snapchat’s positioning, proving the value of the platform as a necessary media partner and unmissable creative opportunity; a platform that has the right products and the right audience to help deliver against all key marketing and communications objectives. We expect you to become a leading voice in the MENA market, specifically when it comes to Creator Marketing and AR. 

You will need a curious and creative mind, the ability to inspire and persuade, and a passion for thinking outside the box. You will have worked extensively in digital and mobile advertising and content. You will be providing innovative thinking to propel creative strategies on the leading edge of the evolving creator economy.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop ideas, strategies, initiatives, and associated presentation materials, proactively and reactively, to help close and upsell - be ready and willing to roll up your sleeves. You will be directly accountable for supporting sales revenue targets within your market.

  • In partnership with the sales team leadership, develop a strong, persuasive narrative for the role Snapchat can play in the Creator Marketing space for clients across the book of business in the region. 

  • Together with Business Leads, Marketing Science, and Product Marketing identify the priority problems to solve for advertisers or brand agnostic verticals and help define the best go to market strategy.

  • Partner with Marketing Science to ensure effectiveness is being measured and quantified 

  • Identify opportunities to develop further develop the Creators ecosystem and educate advertisers on the topic

  • Work closely with Product Marketing to give creative input on new advertising solutions

  • Keep up-to-date with cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes

  • Serve as the creator product expert by educating brands and agencies on new and existing products, as well as advising on best practices

  • Work closely with PR and Marketing to deliver relevant thought-leadership pieces and case studies

  • Collaborate with other Creative Strategy team members, locally and globally, to ensure best practices are being shared and cross-sell opportunities identified

  • Cultivate creative agency partnerships at the senior level to drive wide understanding and adoption of Snapchat creative solutions

  • Dive deep into campaign performance data; guiding KPI-driven measurement strategies, identifying performance trends, optimizing campaigns to achieve results, and providing recommendations for upsell opportunities


Knowledge, skills, & abilities:

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients while maintaining strict attention to details

  • Understanding of digital and mobile marketing and how to build strategies for social platforms leveraging different formats

  • Experience building innovative creative experiences and developing impact-driving strategies

Minimum qualifications:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English - written and spoken

  • Deep understanding of the cultural norms and nuances of the region, particularly of Saudi Arabia - from both a brand and audience perspective

  • Being deeply curious about consumer behavior with the ability to connect qualitative and quantitative research to build strategic recommendations, as well as suggest new approaches to research

  • A love of the creator space and passion for all things influence

  • Strong understanding of creator advertising performance metrics and ecosystem

  • Deep understanding of creator marketing and how to build brilliant strategies to solve for business needs across a range clients 

  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing/advertising or another related field

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of local Creators Ecosystem 

  • Track record of leading the development of exceptional creative campaigns, individually or as part of a team

  • Exceptional ability to understand and solve for any advertiser challenge

  • Expertise at commanding a room and succinctly articulating thought-leading advertising solutions - especially in Arabic 

  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate and persuade others
