Outsourced Solutions and Managed Services Manager, SDMO Operations Manager - Location Flexible

RSM’s Outsourced Solutions and Managed Services team provides a strategic bridge between business development, practice leadership, customers, and internal operations. This newly created team offers the opportunity to work in a startup type environment and help build the offering from the beginning and help shape the future of the Managed Services Practice.

An Operations Manager overseeing the back-office processing support of the SIAM (Service Integration and Management) delivery framework plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of back-office processes. This role involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with the SIAM framework to deliver high-quality services. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the back-office processing support for the SIAM delivery framework. 

  • Manage and lead back-office teams, providing guidance and support. 

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Ensure compliance with SIAM framework standards and best practices. 

  • Monitor and report on operational performance metrics. 

  • Collaborate with SIAM service providers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues. 

  • Conduct regular reviews of back-office processes to identify areas for improvement. 

  • Manage risks and issues related to back-office operations. 

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of back-office tasks. 

  • Provide training and support to back-office teams on SIAM processes and procedures. 

Key Deliverables: 

  • Operational performance reports and dashboards. 

  • Process improvement plans and implementation reports. 

  • Compliance reports with SIAM framework standards. 

  • Risk assessment and mitigation plans. 

  • Training materials and user guides for back-office teams. 

  • Regular review and audit reports of back-office processes. 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related experience. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a related role. 

  • Strong understanding of the SIAM delivery framework. 

  • Proven leadership and team management skills. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Proficiency in operations management tools and software. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $92,600 - $159,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
