Job Summary:

As part of the Strategic Procurement and Planning Division (SPPD), Supply Center of Excellence team, your role as the Asia-Pacific Regional Supply Risk Sensing procurement professional you will lead the facilitation of the regional Supply Risk Sensing team and be the tactical representative for our Enterprise Supplier Risk & Response management process.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • You will be part of a global team, work directly with a wide range of procurement professionals, enterprise representatives, Strategic Procurement & Planning Division (SPPD) team members, and operations teams.   

  • You will focus on the identification, analysis, prioritization and validation of supplier operational risks, with the goal of preventing and mitigating supply disruption through deployment of operational response management plans.  

  • You will drive functional support to Supply Resiliency strategic imperatives, continuous improvement by collecting voice of customer information to direct new and enhanced service offerings.

  • Own quality of standard operating procedures, consistency of best practices, and deployment of the associated tools, training and visual elements to drive end-user adoption.

Level Working Knowledge

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Approaches a situation or problem by defining the problem or issue and determining its significance.
• Uses flow charts, Pareto charts, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns and systematic comparisons.

  • Provide input, creates and present in executive summaries
  • Develop reporting that articulates the situation in a very simple and easily digestible format.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Level Working Knowledge:
Provides input for Gantt charts and detailed plans to track project progress and status.

  • Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project.
  • Facilitation skills demonstrated through ability to manage projects, lead discussions and guide teams though execution of high impact initiatives.
  • Coordination of meetings and stakeholder / customer governance and report outs.   

System Experience:  Knowledge of the features, functions and operations of procurement and supplier, supply chain, policy buyer systems.  Ability to develop and use tools, techniques, and practices for a specific procurement application. (PROcure Spend Analytics, NPE, Other supplier focused platforms)

Level Extensive Experience:
• Improves standard processes to maximize the procurement system's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Functional experience in the use of Microsoft Suite of Applications, SharePoint, Forms, Power Bi.

Additional notes:

  • Location for this position will be considered from Suzhou, Tianjin, Wuxi or Xuzhou. 

  • In addition to working onsite at a primary facility, a hybrid work model allows employees flexibility to work from home based on business need.

  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  • This position may require up to 25% of working time travel, both domestic and international.
