Gaming Social & Community Lead

Description -

Grow the OMEN HyperX gaming community and increasing engagement and word of mouth amongst the gamers.

  • Translate the gaming strategy into gaming community marketing plans to make OMEN/Hyperx the most engaged gaming brand and most recommended brand amongst the gaming community.
  • Leverage gamer, game and market insights, and category product/solution roadmaps to develop audience strategies including content to differentiate HP gaming in the customer journey, that is influenced by community.
  • Leads design of customer experience journeys and touchpoint plans of the community on digital. Uses gaming knowledge to deploy customer experiences that wow and convert. Collaborate with the team to translate these experiences for a seamless physical community deployment.
  • Social media channels: manage monthly and quarterly social media calendars channels.
  • Drive influencer strategy. Build relationships with influencers, streamers and content creators.
  • Works in partnership with content team/gaming agencies to curate content for the community. 
  • Acts as subject matter expert across community motivations of gaming segments, to deliver new programs that bring HP success in this priority category
  • Coordinates execution across all cross-functional teams and aligns stakeholders as required
  • Curate a brand ambassador program to lift WOM for the brand
  • Defines goals to measure the success and business impact of community, including regular analysis and reporting of performance.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent (Master degree or equivalent preferred)
  • 7+ years of work experience in related field

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of marketing principles and digital marketing stack/tools.
  • Experience in growth marketing with expertise in driving communities
  • Expert knowledge of digital marketing platforms (media, social, community platforms, e-commerce) and customer journeys.
  • Knowledge of popular PC game titles, pc gaming ecosystem, social platforms and gaming community platforms
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
