The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking a Systems, Integration and Software Engineer Intern who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the one of several Air Traffic Management programs including En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM), the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System, providing the foundation for NexGen functions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Tasks will include assistance with system architecture, system concept development, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, systems definition, system risk management, and requirements baseline management.
• The candidate will also support the development of design and coding of the program software, including Object Oriented programming concepts, XML, Javascript, C, C++, Java and Python.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidates must be enrolled in a degree program in a relevant discipline; for example, engineering, computer science.
• Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance
• US Citizenship required
• Exposure to system engineering, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Air Traffic knowledge

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
