We are currently looking for a Parts Quality Engineering Intern to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
A Day in the Life:
Work with a team to assist in the development, production, and quality control of current and new vehicles
Communicate with suppliers and plants to address quality and manufacturing issues, and propose cost-saving improvements.
Analyze quality and warranty reports to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Ensure design changes do not negatively impact quality or manufacturing; monitor and recommend process adjustments.
Who We’re Looking for:
Must be currently enrolled and pursuing junior or senior standing in an undergraduate degree program or pursuing graduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering equivalent
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Working knowledge of quality control assessment such as statistical process control.
Ability to understand part, sub-assembly, or system dimensional layouts.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Ability to perform work onsite in Smyrna, TN
